FADDEN HILLS HOME Renovation & EXTENSION
A growing family amongst the Fadden Hills looked to VDARA to transform their much loved yet dated home. Positioned to overlook the stunning Brindabellas, we worked to create a modern family home that they could grow into.
Opening to a prominent entryway, we retained the slate flooring with a polish and stain and brightened the space with hanging pendant lights.
The tall ceilings and abundance of windows stretches light throughout the home and highlights the refreshing white walls within. Taking advantage of the remarkable views from every angle, each room is fitted with new double glazing, allowing the home to rely on beautiful natural light, day in and out.
The open-plan living space and kitchen creates room to gather as a family and connect within a single area. The kitchen was revitalised entirely with warm grey cabinetry, a white splashback and stainless steel fixtures. Above the countertop is a trio of matching pendant lights bringing a new contemporary style to this classic home.
Within the bathrooms, natural materials were used for the vanity, and a palette of warm tones brought a new sense of light to the areas. Through to the bedrooms, the floors were treated to new carpet and walls covered in fresh paint.
Designed to be functional and adaptable, every room within this double-story home serves a valuable purpose and allows space for growth. Standing proud on top of the hills, the house is now a reflection of its time perfectly combined with modern design.
